PÖPPELMANN blue®” - closed loop of recycling management at the example of spouts for pouches
Von Mike Landwehr und Benjamin Kampmann - The initiative PÖPPELMANN blue® has the target, to realize a “real” closed loop of recycling management for plastics. Especially of the new guidelines for plastic packaging of the European Commission the topics recycling-capability of packaging and re-using of recycled material are in the focus of interest. Also for spouted pouches first solutions are in process to close the loop.
For reaching this target, packaging has to be capable for recycling and the recycled material must be usable for the production of new spouts, caps and pouches. To realize this closed loop Pöppelmann FAMAC is currently working on spouted pouch solutions.
