Konrad Linkenheil (Dipl.-Ing.) born in Mönchengladbach is married and has two children.
After studying Food Technology at the Technical University of Berlin, he has, since 1975 led the family business in Wegberg, in the Rhineland.In1978 his father Siegfried Linkenheil died and he became a general partner in the fruit canning factory Siegfried Linkenheil KG.

- His sister Karin Seidel is a limited partner and receives commercial power of attorney
- After the German reunification, Karin Seidel und Konrad Linkenheil bought on 1.August 1991, 100% of the shares of the fruit and vegetable processing factory Spreewaldkonserve Golßen GmbH. They managed to raise the estimated ? 2.3 million investment and give 62 people a job guarantee.
- In the context of the forthcoming European Union extension, parts of the Wegberger production were moved to Hungary and they concentrated on other parts of the Spreewaldkonserve Golßen GmbH, Wegberg itself was closed down.
- On 1. June 2000 the Spreewaldkonserve Golßen GmbH took over establishment enterprise Siegfried Linkenheil GmbH & Co.KG.
- Today Spreewaldhof employs 170 permanent employees and nearly 280 seasonal workers who produce on an area of approximately 270,000 m2, 120 different products and product variations. More than 100 million ? have been invested in recent years in the implementation and expansion of buildings, production plants, warehouses and cold stores.
- With a sales increase of approximately 4.5 million euros to around 92 million ? in the marketing year 2008/2009, the Spreewaldhof shows a strong growth momentum.
